We use manufacturer specifications and manuals. We have not physically tested these monitors. The checker compares documented connection requirements with the answers you give; it does not detect your laptop or guarantee compatibility. Check the exact model manual before buying.
Our first version contains ordinary manufacturer and retailer links. They do not pay us a commission. We may apply to affiliate programs. If approved links are added, we will disclose commissions beside the recommendations and update this page. No manufacturer paid for inclusion.
The site stores a random identifier in your browser tab's session storage. It sends the date, that identifier, a limited campaign label and events for a visit, completed check or manufacturer-source or retailer link click. We use these to see whether the checker is useful. We do not send your answers, laptop model, email address or name. Our database does not store your IP address or browser fingerprint.
Event records expire after 30 days, with expired rows removed when a later event arrives. Hosting providers may maintain their own technical and security logs. We do not sell event data or share it with advertisers. Product sites have their own privacy policies.
We honor the browser's Do Not Track setting. Adding ?qa=1 to this site's address also disables this measurement. You can clear this site's session storage or close the tab to remove its local identifier. This does not delete previously recorded events, which expire as described above.
